How do I choose my stone?

Is made to order and custom made the same thing?
Some customers come with “inspirations” and have very specific ideas which may be thought of as made to order. A custom made ring is completely unique and a one of kind piece that no one else has. You have the option to do with one and many many people do both. Either way you will receive a beautifully crafted and of the highest quality piece of jewelry.
What if I want to see my diamond before you set it?
We will provide you with pictures and very magnified 360• videos of your diamond so you know exactly what your diamond looks like beyond what is visible to the naked eye.
If you still prefer to view your diamond in person, after payment in full, we can ship you your loose diamond before we actually mount it. Round-trip, insured shipping usually costs Between $80 to $150, depending on the value of the diamond.
And, if for any reason you do not love your diamond, we can refund 100% of the diamond cost (if returned within 5 business days/1 calendar week) OR we can apply your payment to another diamond.
Can I return my stone if its not what I expected?
You can but I’m confident you won’t. By the end of your process you will know so much more about diamonds. Israel is an expert at what he does and has a 99% customer satisfaction rate. Where is your jewelry created?
Mostly in NYC however with our online expansion we are developing a team in L.A. as well.
How does it work? What’s the process?
After getting some basic information, you will have a consultation with one of the partners. Israel, the owner and designer, will explain exactly what you can buy based on your budget and preferences. He will source the best possible options for your needs. He will then present these personally selected diamonds or gemstones to you. After you commit to one of the stones (Israel provides clear and magnified videos and photos of the diamonds you are comparing), you will then move to the design phase of the project. At this point, the stone and custom design are joined. After your piece is created, you will get a sneak peek of your finished ring emailed to you and then it is shipped. We make every effort to support you in keeping your purchase discreet so you can totally surprise her.
Can I go in person and see the stones myself?
If you are in or near NYC it is possible to make special arrangements for you to meet with one of the partners but it’s not necessary and may increase production time by a week or so.
Do you have any romantic proposal stories I can read for inspiration?

Is it safe to ship high end jewelry?
We ship via FedEx and UPS and have a 3rd part insurer that fully protects the value of your purchase. This is a necessary precaution but we can happily say it has not been an issue. We will ship it to a location of your choice so that you can keep it a surprise (in case she is home during the day). We will always notify you when we are ready to ship. An adult signature is required to release the package once delivered.
How do I get her finger size?
We can work with you on this. The easiest way is for us to mail you a finger sizer that you can keep to order any future rings - like your wedding bands - down the road. We can mail it to you and perhaps you can simply say something like, “This company offered an online promotion so I got it for free. I took advantage of their offer so we both can check our sizes for future reference…”. If this will blow the surprise, we can work with you and an “insider” that can help us do the detective work!!
Why are retail stores so much more?
Israel Bien has been working in a three generation diamond, gemstone and jewelry business. This affords him unlimited access to wholesale goods. He is uniquely positioned to purchase at wholesale discounts and with his background in design, he can make fine custom jewelry accessible to his customers.
How long does it take?
It does depend on the design but generally 3-4 weeks. If you have a hard deadline, please leave yourself a 2-week buffer. We can do expedited work if you’re in a time crunch.
